Somethin' keeps him movin'
But no one seems to know
What it is that makes him go
Then the lights begin to flicker
And the sound is getting dim
The voice begins to falter
And the crowds are getting thin
But he never seems to notice
He's just got to find
Another place to play
Anyway
Got to play
Anyway
Got to play
But no one seems to know
What it is that makes him go
Then the lights begin to flicker
And the sound is getting dim
The voice begins to falter
And the crowds are getting thin
But he never seems to notice
He's just got to find
Another place to play
Anyway
Got to play
Anyway
Got to play

Joe Satriani and Steve Lukather
April 19, 2008Joe Satriani and Steve Lukather jam in what looks like a club. Both play great, but if you listen to Satch, his tone lords it over Luke’s and cuts through the band despite being somewhat weaker in volume. Not because one is better than the other (well, they belong to the same league — elite guitar wailers, I must say), but again, here’s proof of the importance of TONE. It’s not the volume, don’t you think? Is it the sound tech? The device used to record this video? Or are my ears playing tricks on me?
